Student Q&A

        How many guests can I bring?           
             Each student can bring only 1 guest to prom. If they are not a current student at RHS, Guest Form will be required. All
​             Guest Forms are due by April 4th. 
 
How early can I arrive to check in for Prom?
              Check in will start at 6:45PM outside the lobby doors.
 
What do I need to bring with me to Prom?
              You will need your ticket and a photo ID to check in.
 
Is dinner provided at Prom?
             There will be finger foods throughout the club to munch/snack on.  There is no formal dinner as most couples/attendees                   eat dinner prior. 

Do Senior SGA get FREE tickets?
             No, Senior SGA do not get free tickets to prom. 

Can I volunteer for this Event?
            Yes! We always need volunteers to set up and break down this huge event. You can log these hours as volunteer hours. 

Where do I park?
            There is free street parking on the weekends in Downtown Raleigh. There are also public parking decks/lots around the                      building. 

What time do you need to leave Prom by?
            All students must leave City Club Raleigh and be outside the lobby by 11PM. 

Once I leave prom, can I come back in?
             Your ticket allows you one single admission ONLY. If you leave Prom, you will not be able to come back in. 

What about Masks?
              Depending on the mask mandate at that time by the WCPSS and the City of Raleigh. 

Arrival procedure/what to expect?
              When you arrive to the location, there will be 4 ticket lines based on last names. Go to your line and present your ticket &                   ID. Your bags will be checked. Once checked in, you will be allowed to enter the lobby to the elevators and go up to the                       28th floor. 

Where are the forms located?

              All forms are located on this website under Forms and Policies. You can also find Ticket Pick-Up Form/Student Waiver on                  the 1st floor in the commons and in the front office. 

Where do you drop Prom forms off at?
               All forms can be dropped of in the bin on the door of 2008 for PROM/Coach Mo. You can also drop them off in the front                       office and ask to have them placed into Coach Mohar's mailbox. 

Coats/Jackets/Purses/Personal Belongings
               There is no place to store your coats/personal belongings while you are at prom. All personal items must remain with you                 at all times. RCC, WCPSS, RHS, or any personnel associated with RCC, WCPSS, or RHS Prom will NOT be held responsible                       for lost or stolen items. ALL BAGS WILL BE CHECKED UPON ARRIVAL. 

Is there a bag check prior to Prom?
               Your bags/clutches/purses will be checked before entering the building. 

After I get my ticket pick up approved, where do I get the ticket?
         
    You can turn in your ticket pick up form to 2008/Coach Mo. Ticket pick up will be April 25th-27th outside the Main Office                  before school and in Concessions during B Lunch.  There will be two lines- A line with all forms turned in and just picking                  up their ticket and a line for turning in your PROM TICKET PICK UP FORM. Turn in your TICKET PICK UP FORM the week                    prior for a quicker pick up. 

When are Prom Ticket Pick Up Forms Due?
                Can be found online, 1st floor commons, or front office. Prom Ticket Pick Up form should be turned in by April 21st to                        speed up your ticket pick up time. If you forget to turn in your form prior to Ticket Pick Up dates, you need to bring it                        with you when you pick up your tickets. DON'T FORGET YOUR PHOTO ID FOR TICKET PICK UP. 

How do I get my Guest Tickets?
                 The guest ticket will be with your ticket. The RHS student who is attending PROM will pick up their guest ticket for their                   guest from another school or for an underclassman guest. 

Staff Q&A

Are staff members who are chaperoning allowed to bring their significant other/spouse to Prom?
              Yes, you can bring your significant other/spouse.

What should we wear?
               Dress to impress--Dress up.
